Coming And Goings
The two guys who set up the post-9/11 worldwide communications operation to fight terrorism are playing musical chairs. Gone from the White House is Tucker Eskew, global spokesperson for President Bush. An alum of the Florida recount and a close Bush aide, he's opening a domestic and international crisis PR biz in Washington. But he'll also be on the campaign hustings for Bush. Enter Jim Wilkinson. He ran the Washington 9/11 shop while Eskew was in London, was Iraqi war Gen. Tommy Franks's flack, and lately ran the Republican National Convention's PR. He's now communications boss at the National Security Council, replacing Anna Perez.
